Kurrency Kidz Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “the Organization”) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Maryland, USA.

This Donation Policy outlines how donations are accepted, processed, acknowledged, and used to advance our mission of empowering youth ages 3–21 through financial literacy education, job readiness training, and leadership development.

We believe in transparency, integrity, and accountability in all financial and donor interactions.

Kurrency Kidz Inc. is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Donors should consult their tax advisors regarding specific deductions.

Upon receiving a contribution, Kurrency Kidz will provide a donation receipt or acknowledgment letter including:

• Our organization name and EIN (Employer Identification Number)
   
• Date and amount of donation
   
• Statement confirming that no goods or services were received in exchange (for tax deduction eligibility)
   

Kurrency Kidz gratefully accepts financial and in-kind contributions in the following forms:

• Online Donations via PayPal, GoFundMe, or Givelify
   
• Checks or Money Orders made payable to Kurrency Kidz Inc.
   
• Recurring Contributions through monthly donor programs
   
• Corporate Sponsorships and Partnerships
   

Non-cash contributions (e.g., school supplies, books, educational materials, or event support) must be pre-approved and will be used solely for program purposes.

Donors of in-kind items will receive an acknowledgment letter; however, Kurrency Kidz does not assign or determine monetary value for tax purposes.

All donations are used to further our charitable mission, including but not limited to:

• Funding financial literacy workshops for the youth & teens ages 3–21
   
• Supporting youth employment and leadership programs
   
• Purchasing educational materials, technology, and resources
   
• Covering outreach, transportation, and event costs
   
• Sustaining administrative and operational needs necessary for program delivery
   

Kurrency Kidz reserves the right to allocate funds where most needed, ensuring that every contribution supports the organization’s mission and operational integrity.

We deeply value donor trust and handle all personal information with care and confidentiality.

Kurrency Kidz does not sell, rent, or trade donor information.
Personal and financial data are used only for donation processing, receipts, and organizational communications (e.g., thank-you letters, newsletters, or event invitations).

All online transactions are securely processed via trusted third-party payment platforms:

• PayPal
   
• GoFundMe
   
• Givelify
   

These services use industry-standard encryption (SSL) and comply with global security protocols (PCI DSS).
Kurrency Kidz does not directly store or have access to donor credit card information.

Donations are non-refundable except in the following cases:

• A duplicate transaction was made in error
   
• The donation amount was entered incorrectly
   
• A system or technical error occurred during processing
   

Refund requests must be submitted within five (5) business days of the original donation.
To request a refund, email info@kurrencykidz.org with:

• Full name
   
• Donation date and amount
   
• Payment method or transaction ID
   

Approved refunds will be processed promptly through the original payment platform.

We strive to acknowledge all donations within 7–10 business days of receipt.
For recurring or online donations, electronic receipts are typically sent automatically by the processing platform.

Major gifts or sponsorships may receive additional recognition (e.g., website mentions, newsletters, or event highlights) with donor consent.

Donors who choose to give monthly or annually authorize Kurrency Kidz to process payments through their selected method until canceled.
Recurring donors may adjust or cancel contributions anytime by contacting info@kurrencykidz.org or directly managing settings in the donation platform used.

Kurrency Kidz may recognize donors publicly to express appreciation.
If you wish to remain anonymous, please indicate that preference at the time of donation or email us directly.

Kurrency Kidz complies with all federal, state, and local laws governing charitable solicitations, including:

• Maryland Charitable Solicitations Act
   
• IRS Regulations for 501(c)(3) Organizations
   
• Data Privacy and Protection Laws
   

We maintain accurate financial records and submit all required state and federal filings.

We welcome and encourage employer-matching gift programs.
Donors may provide matching documentation through their employer, and Kurrency Kidz will confirm eligibility and receipt of the contribution.

Kurrency Kidz Inc. may revise or update this Donation Policy as needed to reflect new laws, technologies, or organizational changes.
The most recent version will always be posted on our website, with the “Effective Date” noted above.
