Our History
Kurrency Kidz was founded with a clear mission: to close the financial literacy gap for teens and provide practical, life-changing opportunities for youth to learn, earn, and lead. What began as a small community initiative quickly expanded into a structured nonprofit organization serving youth across Maryland.
Our programs were developed in response to a growing need—many teens graduate without understanding budgeting, saving, credit, entrepreneurship, or workforce readiness. Kurrency Kidz is committed to breaking generational cycles by offering teens the financial education and real-world preparation that many schools do not provide.
